I feel that my multidimensional use of ultraviolet paints give a definite haunting quality to my perceptions. I am thankful that my journey and studies have led up to discovering the medium for materializing my lifelong observations. Working with the airbrush I can unleash my true colours; it is also a zenith time for stumbling upon searing observations into the world. During my painting process I reference many photos and recall lyrics of music that have resonated with me over the years. I do art that feeds my soul. As an artist I aspire to bring into being a vivid link between one another's emotions as I believe it's what I'm born hardwired to do. 

 BIO

Meghan Thomas is a fine artist in Toronto. Born and raised in London, Ontario, Meghan chose the beautiful West Coast for her training in Makeup Artistry. Her interest in portraiture naturally coexisted with a passion to do makeup. She attended Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver where she was introduced to body art and the airbrush, immediately feeling a kinship with the tool. Painting bodies proved to be a satisfying enough outlet for her level of creativity. Airbrushing on canvases allowed her gift to grow rapidly without limitations. Meghan is drawn to using fluorescent paints because the hues are vibrant and intense, just like her emotions. She has enjoyed success being covered by Shaw News in Vancouver, BC in 2015.
